Brierfield Spring Fair 2010, Pendle

A fantastic day was had at Brierfield Spring Fair. A fantastic day was had at Brierfield Spring Fair this year. The event took place on Saturday 27th March, in and around the public buildings of Brierfield town centre.

Click here to view a short video taken at the fair – as you can see, there was some dancing 🙂 – loads of fun was had by all!

There were two main objectives for the day:

1. Was to encourage families to take part in the day, ensuring that they had fun and enjoyed the activities and

2. That the people of Brierfield were made aware of the various public services that are available to them.

Both objectives were met well with over 700 local people enjoying the day, with a large proportion mixing with and engaging with the 12 public service providers which were present.

Many thanks to the following public service stalls on the day: Pendle Borough Council Neighbourhood Management, Cyber cafe, Help Direct, Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Service, Brierfield Christian Churches, Lancashire Local Involvement Network, SureStart, Trading Standards Service, Age Concern Lancashire, Bodies in Motion, Pendle Enterprise Trust, Burnley and Pendle Cats Protection, Lancashire County Council Access Team, Fire Service, Lancashire Constabularly. The event took place on Saturday 27th March, in and around the public buildings of Brierfield town centre.
