Farringdon Park Community Centre, Preston

The main construction work at Farringdon Park Community Centre is now complete, and the final jobs will be done in the next couple of weeks. Part of the space was used to host a Platinum Jubilee Party yesterday – fantastic to see it working for the community already!

All going to plan at Farringdon Park Community Centre! If the weather is kind to the contract team from Landscape Engineering then we’re hoping the planting and painting can get done by the end of next week.

Work has begun at Farringdon Park Community Centre. The contract team from Landscape Engineering are making good progress, and we hope that work will be completed in June. We’ll update you all again when the finishing touches have been done!

We are delighted to be working alongside the team at Farringdon Park Community Centre and Lancashire County Council to deliver much needed improvements to the outside space at the popular community centre. Currently the area is old and neglected, but with the help of funding and support from Lancashire Environment Fund and Lancashire County Council, the area will be redesigned to offer families and small children a safe, colourful, natural space where they can play and socialise locally.

We hope that work on site will start sometime in Spring 2022.
