Proffitts worked with the group to design a new garden layout – this consisted of new surfacing to the whole garden area with raised beds and planters that were easier to maintain. Decorative railings and gates also ensured the site and its users were safe. Colour and interest was created through the large murals and mosaics that surround the garden and the centre. The result – a large open space that can be used throughout the year and which accommodates for a wide range of events and activities
