This is your opportunity to have your say! Please let us know what improvements you would like to see made at Kemp Delph. This is already a popular place with local residents but it has been identified as an area which could be improved in terms of activities offered, wildlife, reflection spaces and wider access / safety. What are your thoughts? What would you like to see improved there?

We’re delighted to be working with local residents and Hyndburn Borough Council on a project to improve the water body at Kemp Delph in Stanhill, Oswaldtwistle. It’s already a popular place, and we’re looking forward to working with the community to find ways to enhance and improve the site further. Early suggestions include pathway creations, better access and boundary works – all with the aim of making Kemp Delph a safer place to visit, fish at and even rock climb in.

There will be a new community group formed to drive the project forward and they’ll be consulting with people locally to see what changes they would most like to see. In the meantime, if you have any questions or suggestions, please do leave a comment below.
