St Josephs football team, Stacksteads

It was great to get this project completed last year. Everyone worked really hard to secure the monies needed and make the changes that this community will really benefit from. Thanks to everyone involved – we loved working with you on this one 🙂 !

Hi all just a quick update on progress with this one. This project was a real toughie to secure all the funds required but we are very nearly there thanks to funders such as National Lottery Fund, Reap Moss Wind Farm Fund, Lancashire County Council and Rossendale Borough Council. The project will really benefit everyone in the community as well as help sustain St Josephs Football Club. The project will entail some changes to the changing rooms as well as providing a much needed community café and space for all to enjoy – especially users of the countryside park on a cold winters day. So well done to everyone who persevered – brilliant work!

The management committee at St Josephs Football Club have a vision of making significant improvements to the existing changing rooms and community café. We would like to know what you think of the ideas. Please could you take just 5 minutes of your time to complete this very short survey? We will use all feedback to determine if the suggested improvements are needed or if there are any other ideas. Thank you! If the majority of people are in support of the improvements, we will try and find the funds to carry them out!

We are pleased to announce that we are working with St Josephs , Stacksteads football team in trying to improve their home ground changing rooms / club house building. The plan is to remodel the interior so it can be put to better use allowing changing to take place whilst also being able to serve simple refreshments and maybe even breakfast during match time! We are at the very early stages and the first stage will a little bit of consultation which will mean you answering a few questions to prove to potential funders that what is suggested is needed. Please help if you can. Will update you all ASAP. Thanks
