Reminder of the walks in November organised by the Greenmount Village Community Walking Group.
MONDAY 8th NOVEMBER, Western Woods, Reservoirs and Moors
Meeting Place: Roddlesworth Information Centre BB3 0PA
Time Out: 8.45am
Time Back: 3pm. approx.
Route: Tockholes Plantation, Withnell Moor, Drinkwater, Great Hill, Hollinshead,
Tockholes.
Distance 10 to 11 miles
WEDNESDAY 17th NOVEMBER, Radcliffe to Manchester, Last section of the Whalley to Manchester Pilgrims’ Way Â
Meeting Place: Radcliffe Close Park off Dumers Lane
Time Out: 8.30.am
Time back 2pm. at Manchester Cathedral for metro back to Radcliffe
Route: Radcliffe following Greenways, mainly alongside the
River Irwell and through parks into Manchester
Distance: 10 miles
