A brilliant first day of our two day course in ‘Outdoor First Aid’ training, delivered by Lancashire First Aid Training Ltd. Just some of the areas we covered today included how to bandage and safe airway positions – all crucial, need to know stuff! All participants will receive a Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) certificate. This course was organised as a part of the ‘Routes Around Rossendale’ project (funded by Lancashire Environmental Fund and Natural England) – which aims to encourage the community to explore the countryside on their doorstep.
