Proffitt’s has been commissioned by Rossendale Borough Council to apply for £250,000 funding from the Community Sport Activation Fund – Sport England. This is a £47.5 million Lottery funded programme which will provide grassroots activity at a very local level. Essentially, it will focus on family orientated sporting activities within communities in Rossendale, encouraging people to develop a ‘Sporting Habit for Life’.
