Sunflower Competitions – Haslingden Methodist Church

The Launch of the Sunflower Growing competition at Haslingden Methodist church will be on Saturday 6th April from 10am until 2pm. At this family event there will be the opportunity to register for the sunflower competition, plant some seeds and ask the experts for advice on growing sunflowers. Also there will be craft activities available for all ages.
At the launch event there will be an exhibition of Sunflower Art work. The winners of the Haslingden Sunflower Art competition will be announced and prizes presented at 12 noon on the 6th. (Don’t forget that entries for the Sunflower Art competition are due in by the 31st March).
The church café will be open on the 6th April serving refreshments.
These sunflower competitions are being run in partnership with the Haslingden and Helmshore Civic Pride.
