Wildlife at Stacksteads

Creation of the wetland area at Stacksteads had an early win for wildlife – the earthworks attracted this kestrel over to investigate. He didn’t seem at all affected by the presence of the contractors or machinery and kept hovering around, hoping that the excavations would unearth some lunchtime treats!

The works are coming along well in spite of the bad weather and we are hoping to complete on site in January. Watch this space!
