Do you think the area would benefit from more bulbs and wildflowers; entrance upgrades; litter and debris removal; improved pathways; new fencing and gates; or the installation of new signage, seating and bins? Whatever your thoughts, we’d love to hear them. The survey only takes a couple of minutes to complete, but it will help make sure that any improvements work well for your community๐ณ๐ผโ๏ธ๐

Or do you think that planting additional bulbs and wildflowers should be considered?

We’re delighted to be working alongside Bury Council on their project to improve Boz Park, Whitefield.
The council are eager to work towards achieving Local Nature Reserve (LNR) status for the park, and early ideas for upgrading the area include entrance upgrades; litter and debris removal; improving pathways and drainage; new fencing and gates; and the installation of new signage, seating and bins. Planting additional bulbs and wildflowers is also being considered.
Before the plans are finalised, the team will be asking visitors and local residents what they think of the design – and we’ll also be asking you to share your ideas and suggestions for improving the space too.
As soon as the community consultation is ready to share, we’ll update you here. We’ll also share details via Facebook, X, and Instagram – so do check for news when you can.
